ALL the Bolton League under 13s games on the first week were victims of the weather and teams involved receive one point.

Four games from the first week of the under 15s were washed out, Astley Bridge v Tonge, Horwich v Little Lever, Kearsley v Egerton and Walkden v Westhoughton.

In the game at the Rigbys, Bradshaw had an easy win over Farnworth SC. Social Circle batted first scoring 114 off their 20 overs (D Barton 47). The Bradshaw batsman went about knocking off the runs with ease, finishing on 115 without loss, (R Tierney 50 retired, P Waring 42 not out).

Championship contenders Heaton had an easy victory over Eagley. Heaton, batting first, scored 106 for 3 (Brett Clift 51 retired) and Eagley in reply were all out for 35.

This week Greemount took on Farnworth, who were 32 all out, Greenmount in reply scored 33 for 1 with N Ball finishing with figures of 5 for 16.

In the first round of the Mervyn Porter Trophy, Westhoughton beat Eagley by 10 wickets. Eagley were 42 all out and Westhoughton 46 for the loss of no wickets. Egerton made their way to the next round with a good win over Farnworth. Farnworth scoring 51 for 6 with Egerton 56 without loss.

Horwich batted first scoring 130 (N Woods 61 not out and M Ainscow 53 not out). In reply Greemount were 51 for 4 to exit the cup in the first round. The game between Tonge and Kearsley is to be played at a later date due to Tonge's ground being unfit to play.

The next round draw is as follows and these fixtures are to be played on Monday 4th June.
