A Walkden man has been jailed for four years for his part in a £9m dope smuggling operation.
Manchester Crown Court heard a gang smuggled cannabis with a street value of £9m into the UK .
In the dock were nine defendants including Michael Murray, 24, of Elms Road, Whitefield and John Clarke, 22, of Grosvenor Road, Walkden. They were all convicted of plotting to smuggle cannabis into the UK. Murray got five years and Clarke was jailed for four years.
