It was with great sadness that Graham Barrow from Heath Charnock died while participating in the 2001 London Marathon. Graham was running in the marathon to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.
As with thousands of others Graham took part in the marathon to raise money for a worthy cause which unfortunately ended in tragic circumstances.
Obviously at this time our thoughts go to Graham's family and friends.
They can be proud that Graham was taking part in an honourable task.
