BOLTON North-east MP David Crausby opened a new office for a Swinton-based recruitment business.
Linda Taylor Associates, an independent consultancy established in 1987, has opened additional premises in Bark Street East, Bolton to add to those in Swinton and Wilmslow.
Demand
The move was "driven by increased demand from Bolton companies and a confidence in the potential for growth within this increasingly vibrant business community."
Linda said at the opening: "We simply cannot get enough temporary workers for the jobs we currently generate through our Swinton office.
"Virtually everyone who registers finds immediate temporary work, as long as they have reasonably up-to-date skills, and for those who haven't we offer a range of training options.
"We are confident that we can mirror this success in Bolton."
The firm's IT team is on hand to provide relevant training in a dedicated training centre based in the new Bolton offices.
Linda Taylor Associates is the first private learndirect centre in the Manchester area for on-line courses in business, management and IT.
Unemployed candidates can take advantage of government-funded courses. Pictured, left to right, at the branch opening are Jackie O'Sullivan, Shirley Franks, David Crausby and Linda Taylor
