SO Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs has decided that it is time for him to come home and face-the-music.
Could it be that his stolen cash has run-out, or is on the point of doing so?
He knows that there is no health service in Brazil, and he also knows what the quality of his life would be without money to pay for private healthcare. Should he be sent back to prison, which I very much doubt, he would be assured of excellent care in the prison hospital. If not, he would still be well treated on the already overburdened N.H.S. Either way. he will finish his days in relative luxury, which is more than the chance the train-driver was given.
He is not a hero, having dodged justice, he elected to live in Rio; then let him die in Rio -- and good riddance to him.
