LAST year's Hospital Cup runners-up Breightmet United went out of this year's competition when they were beaten 1-0 by Blackrod Town.
On a bumpy pitch, good football was limited and although there were half chances at each end, the game didn't produce any goals during normal time. However in the first minute of extra time Darren Saallicker broke the deadlock and put Blackrod ahead.
In spite of further chances there was no addition to the score and last years runners up were out of the Competition.
Tonight, Turton play Stoneclough at Turton, kick off 6.30 and on Thursday, Eagley play Rivington at Eagley with a 7pm kick off.
