A WOMAN escaped serious injury in a collision with another car and a motorbike in Westhoughton last night.
Claire Carson, aged 20, of Peel Terrace, Westhoughton, was taken to hospital suffering from shock.
The crash happened at 7.30pm when a car, believed to be a blue Honda, did a U-turn on Bolton Road, 400 metres from the junction with Chew Moor Lane.
A blue Yamaha DT 125cc motorbike swerved to avoid the Honda and was in a head-on collision with her red Ford Fiesta.
Police today appealed for the motorcyclist and driver of the Honda to come forward after they left the scene last night.
