BOLTON police chiefs are on the hunt... to reward deserving youngsters.
Nominations are now required for the 2001 GMP's Young Citizen of the Year awards, with some top prizes up for the winner.
The annual award acknowledges work carried out by young people throughout the region and aims to reward them for their dedication and commitment to members of their community.
This year's winner will receive a first prize of £1,500 to be donated to a charity or community group of their choice.
The young winner will also enjoy a £1,500 holiday with £1,000 spending money and a VIP day out at a top football club.
GMP's Chief Constable David Wilmot said: "I think it is important to give credit to these youngsters as they are excellent models and will hopefully inspire others to follow in their footsteps."
Nominations can be made via entry forms available from Bolton police stations and secondary schools or by calling GMP's Youth Matters hotline on 0161 856 8888.
