A YOUNG man and woman plundered a pensioners' home after talking their way into the property.
The pair struck between 3pm and 4pm on May 1, after distracting the elderly occupants of a house in Pansy Road, Farnworth.
After stealing property they pushed the pensioners out of the way before running from the house and driving away in a white or cream coloured car similar in size to a Metro.
One of the thieves is a white man, aged 27 to 28, 6ft tall and slimly built. He was clean shaven and had an Irish accent. He wore a red baseball cap, red T shirt and black silky tracksuit bottoms.
His female accomplice is in her early 20s and 5ft 4ins tall with a local accent, plump build and bleached blonde bob haircut with dark roots. She wore a white T shirt and navy blue pedal pusher pants.
