TWO men and a youth alleged to have been involved in an incident during which a dog was said to have been told to attack a police officer have appeared in court.
Mitchell Harvey, 18, of Crostons Road, Bury, Christopher Foster, 18, of the same address, and a 16-year-old are charged with affray.
Harvey also faces a charge of assaulting PC Paul Suddons with intent to resist or prevent the lawful apprehension of himself or another.
The alleged incident, during which the officer suffered a fracture to his hand, is said to have occurred earlier this month in Litchfield Drive, Bury. All three plead not guilty and the case was adjourned until June 26 when committal proceedings to the Crown Court are expected to take place.
