WALSHAW Cricket Club got the Dean Holdsworth charity auction off the mark with a bid of £50.
The Reebok star is auctioning an autographed bottle of bubbly he picked up for his man of the match performance in Saturday's 1-0 victory, a signed shirt and two tickets for Wanderers' final home game of the season against Sheffield United on Sunday week.
The auction, being staged in conjunction with the Bolton Evening News, is raising funds for Derian House, the Chorley-based children's hospice.
Bids will be taken up to Friday evening and you can make yours in writing to: Sports Desk, Bolton Evening News, Newspaper House, Bolton BL1 1DE or by phone to the 'Holdsworth Hotline' 01204 361266.
