A TEENAGE boy is seriously ill in hospital today after he was involved in an car accident in Worsley.
Daniel Anderson, aged 14, from Salford, who was on a pedal cycle, was in collision with a BMW on the East Lancs Road near its junction with Old Clough Lane.
The boy suffered serious head and internal injuries in the accident at 6.10pm and was admitted to Hope Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital at Pendlebury.
The BMW was being driven by Paul Woodward from Atherton.
Any witnesses are urged to call the police on 0161-856-5073.
