MAKING a show of themselves has enabled members of Bolton's Drama Workshop Youth Theatre to raise more than £1,000 for charity in just four months.
Last year the young actors raised £2,300 for good causes, and hope this time by the end of 2001 to have raised £3,000.
Ticket sales from their first two shows of the year -- Terry Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters, and a devised play Little Wings -- have already raised a third of the target.
The rest, members hope, will come from holiday workshops, future productions and events including a 24-hour dramathon.
The Drama Workshop Youth Theatre is open to all young people aged between eight and 18. Anyone interested in joining or helping with the fundraising can contact Wendy on 431395, or e-mail dramaworkshop-uk@yahoo.com
