BRIAN Derbyshire's letter, Friday, March 16 criticising Mrs Alice Green for pointing out that Bolton is losing its Lancashire identity and getting an Asian identity.
The fact is that more Muslim schools and mosques are being built every year in Bolton, while Christian churches and schools are closing. When Muslims say what they do about C of E schools, these schools have been in Bolton for hundreds of years and the pupils are English, not Islamic. Where is all their money coming from to build all these mosques and schools? If they have all this money, then let's see them give to the Indian earthquake.
