CONCERNING your report about two drivers having accidents on Scout Road
Did Mr Kelly or Mr Mason not read the Highway Code where it says you drive according to the conditions.
At the time of their accidents it had been raining heavily and there was standing water on the road. Any normal person would slow down before driving through at a much reduced speed. What does Mr Mason do? Go through at 45mph his words. Both these drivers are a danger to themselves and other road users. As happened when Mr Kelly's car hit another vehicle or could it be the compensation which is clouding their judgment.
