HAVING visited Bolton for the 23rd Festival of Male Voice Praise, which was excellent, I was disappointed and disgusted to find two shops who would not accept my Scottish bank notes.
On enquiring at a local bank, I was advised that they are legal tender and should have been accepted. I would therefore invite those two shops and any others to change their parochial attitude and join the rest of us in the 21st Century.
