YOGA has increasingly become a very popular way to relieve the stresses of every day life. Due to demand, the Yoga for Beginners course at Lostock Parish Church is now full, and a further course is planned for Friday, 6pm to 7.30pm, at a town centre venue.

Art helps hospice A LARGE selection of paintings, prints, and cards will be on display next Sunday, April 15, between 11am and 4.30pm, in the Penny Farthing Suite of the Last Drop, Bromley Cross.

Some artists will be on hand to answer queries or demonstrate their crafts. More than 300 pictures will be on display, including works of Brian Thomas, well known for his excellent watercolours. Brian, a member of Bolton Art Circle for many years, was a former member of Bolton Fire Brigade.

Keep coffee date UNITY Church (corner of Chorley New Road and Beverley Road -- near to Bolton School) will be holding a coffee morning on Wednesday from 11am to noon.
