THE countdown to Bolton Mela has begun -- and organisers are predicting this year's Asian festival will be bigger and better than ever.
Schools and community groups are taking part in workshops ready for the results to be performed on the day.
Attractions will include a showcase of the best Asian musicians and dancers from around the region, a fairground, specialist food stalls and demonstrations of traditional Asian sports such as Kabadi. Children from around the borough will also be taking part in a football tournament.
