MONDAY
SAM Allardyce slams referee Bill Jordan for disallowing Wanderers' appeals for a penalty just a minute before Wimbledon's equaliser but the Reebok boss insists the promotion race is far from over. "I still think it will go to the last day of the season," he says. Stockport get special dispensation from the League to sign a goalkeeper aftyer the transfer deadline and Blackburn boss, Graeme Souness, duly obliges, allowing Alan Kelly to join the Hatters on loan.
TUESDAY
TWO more precious points are dropped as Wanderers throw away a lead at the Reebok for the third game in a row and have to settle for another draw. This time it's Stockport, who equalise through Finland international Shefki Kuqi after Colin Hendry had opened the scoring on 11 minutes.
WEDNESDAY
ALLARDYCE says Wanderers need to win six of their remaining matches - and draw the other - if they are to clinch an automatic promotion place. But the cause is helped when Blackburn only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Sheffield United. The manager confirms he has suspended John O'Kane for a week. He is understood to be unhappy about his attitude. Michael Ricketts and Emanuele Morini are on target as the Reserves beat Port Vale 2-0.
