REGARDING the match at the Reebok Stadium last Saturday.

Another two valuable points lost by yet another abominable refereeing decision. Isn't it time something was done about it? I am sure that I am not the only one who feels strongly that we are the victims of a conspiracy by the Referees' Association to pay us back for kicking up a fuss over the Ipswich match last season.

What we are dealing with here is not just a game of football any more but the livelihoods of many people in a multi-million pound business which is effectively being controlled by inefficient amateurs in the form of black uniformed football officials.

We are not the only football supporters throughout the country who have had reason to complain about the standard of refereeing and line control in this sport but I do feet that we are being unjustly victimised by the hierarchy of the game.

It is about time that something was done.

If the 14,000-plus supporters who attended the match against Wimbledon were to make their feelings known in the form of a protest to the FA the Football League and the Referees' Association, something would, indeed, start to happen.

If the rest of the country saw what we had achieved they would also follow, so that the standard of refereeing would improve nationally, which is a common cry. If we do not complain how can we expect to get things improved. Once again we are the suckers who pay out hard-earned money only to have our leisure time ruined by inconsistent and biased officiating.

I know that refereeing is not the easiest job in the world, but, how come rugby doesn't have the same problems. The standard of refereeing for the St Helens v Leeds match was nothing short of brilliant. With more money being generated in football why do we not have the same standards.
