The last TWO games in fact.

Sunday, April 29 will be the fateful day.

Confused? Well that's the day Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers meet in a "double-header" - back-to-back games that could decide who wins promotion to the Second Division of the ASPFCIL League (the Association of Supporters of Provincial Football Clubs in London for the uninitiated).

"It's an amazing coincidence that we're going to be playing a vital game against the Blackburn supporters while Big Sam and the boys are going head to head with Graeme Souness and his Rovers," says Neil Kateley who plays striker for the Wanderers London Supporters Club team.

"The difference in this case is that Blackburn are actually bottom of the table and can't be promoted. Hull City are top and Aberdeen are second but we're only three points behind in third and we're confident this could be our season.

"We've never been promoted in our nine-year history but this could be the one."

The London Whites, made up of enthusiastic ex-pats now based in the capital, will be out in force to support their team, managed by Jeff Neyland, on the 29th at Barnes - across the Thames from Fulham!

They'll look the part too in their strips supplied by the Wanderers themselves.

"Thanks to the club we play in the official kit," says Kateley, an advertising executive.

"All being well we can put one over on Blackburn and win promotion while Big Sam and the boys book their place in the Premiership."
