THE SEARCH is on to find out if anyone in Bolton is the proud owner of a Supa Dog.

Do you own a dog who is courageous, loyal and loving, and a faithful friend?

If so they could be in with a chance of winning £1,000 as part of the search for the Supa Dog of the Year. Burgess Supa Dog has launched the nationwide competition to find Britain's Supa Dog.

The search aims to put dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds in the spotlight.

Anyone can nominate a dog for the award, whether their animal is simply a special friend, has been a hero, triumphed over adversity, shown exceptional loyalty or is simply the tops in their owner's eyes.

The Supa Dog of the Year campaign is being supported by the well known television personality and dog fan, Peter Purves, and will also raise cash for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

The competition winner will walk away with £1,000 and a year's supply of dog food from the Supa Dog range. Five regional runners-up will receive £200 cash and a year's supply of Supa Dog. For every entry received Burgess Supa Dog will donate £1 to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Competition entry forms can be picked up from local pet stores. To enter owners should send in a photograph of their dog along with not more than 200 words on why their dog should be awarded the title.
