THE season started a week late, delayed by FMD restrictions, on a full Belmont lake with a light but challenging wind that varied between NW and S. Two visiting boats a Scorpion and an Albacore sailed well in the handicap fleet. Two Super nova have joined the handicap fleet and show promise of exciting sailing to come. The GP fleet was off to a good start with the front of the fleet not quite as lonely as it has been.
