A BOY of five is still recovering in hospital after being involved in a road accident at the weekend.
Nathan Simpson, of Pansy Road, Farnworth, suffered a broken leg, a damaged knee and several cuts and bruises after the incident on Sunday afternoon. It is hoped he will be allowed home in a few days.
The Cherry Tree Primary School pupil was in collision with a Vauxhall Vectra in Huntroyde Avenue, driven by David Unsworth, of Valdene Close, Farnworth.
