Eric jazzes up end of swing season JAZZ legend Eric Delaney's impeccable reputation to drum up full houses continues this weekend, when he takes to the stage once again at Horwich RMI's Swing Suite.

This will be Eric's only concert in the North-west this year. He has appeared in six concerts in Horwich in the past and all have been sell outs -- a record for any entertainer visiting the town.

The concert marks the end of the Swing Suite's current season.

However, far from resting on their laurels, organisers have already pulled off another coup. When the season resumes in September, it will be with Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen.

A spokesman said: "This concert is sure to be a sell out. Kenny has just completed a nationwide tour topping a bill which featured the Dutch Swing Orchestra and Chris Barber Blues Band."

Last month's concert featured Mark Gillbanks Swing Orchestra. It was the band's first visit to the Horwich venue, but it was so successful, that it will not be the last. The band has been invited back for next season.
