THE weather hit the local West Lancs League teams hard on Saturday with not a single 1st team in action.
Blackrod Town having beaten Burnley United 4-1 in midweek lost out with the Richardson Cup Round Two tie at Wyre Villa being postponed.
The Reserves were in action however with a 3-2 away win at Fleetwood Hesketh, goals coming from Chris Jordan (2) and David Sutch. Tempest United's 2nds followed up the midweek 3-1 home win over Eagley with a 1-1 draw at Feniscowles, Hilton the scorer.
Turton Reserves won 6-0 at Burnley United. Eagley next to bottom in the Premier Division listing still have a massive ten league games to complete his season.
