A PALM Sunday concert will be held on Sunday at St Bartholomew's Parish Church, Westhoughton.
The 6.30pm concert will feature a centenary performance of Stainer's Crucifixion, in addition to Hosanna to the Son of David by Gibbons, Tristis Est Anima Mea by Kuhnau, and Ireland's Greater Love Hath No Man. Bolton Chamber Choir, St Bartholomew's Parish Church Choir and St John's, Wingates, Church Choir will perform.
Feature soloists will be Martin Hindmarsh, tenor, Stephen Wells, a baritone and Darius Battiwalla, organist. John Powell is conductor. Tickets, £6, concessions £5, are from 594123.
