HOW nice to read Rev Michael Williams' Thought for the Week column.

I am glad to hear that the May General Election has now been put back and I also think that a day of mourning for the plight of the animals should be held instead.

So far I have not heard of any commiserations for the thousands of animals so quickly taken from our fields under such stressful conditions. So let Tony Blair and the people show that we care and that we are human.

Thank you Rev Williams for your views on this issue.
