WHAT a delight it gave me to read "No Go" -- Former tip site plan scrapped. (Singing Clough site, Kearsley).
Thank you to all who have fought for this and made their voices heard. May this site be quietly enjoyed now by us who enjoy open land and not industrial sites (sights!).
To Councillor Noel Spencer, I suggest he concentrates on giving comfort to tenants by getting rid of outdoor loos and up-dating to the modern system of indoor loos.
