SHOPPERS can now pick up their groceries and crime-fighting tips at a one-stop shop.
A twice-weekly police surgery has opened at the Asda store in Golborne, near Leigh, where townsfolk can talk to PC Keith Halliday about how their neighbourhood can be bettered.
Question and answer sessions give residents the chance to put forward personal and community queries. Problems raised at the first session ranged from nuisance youths to speeding traffic.
