BOLTON Dance and Performing Arts College is searching for a star.
They want to find undiscovered performers -- singers, dancers or comedians -- and are offering cash prizes in a talent contest which is being organised in association with the Bolton Evening News.
At the moment they are looking for people to go for an audition. When they have enough entrants an evening will be arranged at a local venue where they will be judged. The winners will go forward to a final or semi-final, depending on the response.
It is likely the final will be held in autumn next year.
From each evening the takings will be given to a local charity.
The prizes are: First -- £250; second -- £100 and third -- £50.
The college recently raised £1,500 for the Mayor of Bolton's appeal.
