A MAN has jailed for 15 months for indecently assaulting a 12-year-old boy he was babysitting. Harold Smith, aged 58, was convicted of indecent assault after a trial and appeared at Bolton Crown Court for sentence.
On the night of the assault Smith, of Hayden Court, Monsall had been at the family's home in the Prestwich area and agreed to babysit while the mother went out. It was then that the offence took place.
