THE De Vere Whites Hotel at Bolton's Reebok Stadium has appointed Roland Ayling, aged 44, as general manager.
He has been a general manager for De Vere for 20 years, most recently at the De Vere Dunston Hall, Norwich.
Mr Ayling, who was born in Barking, Essex, first came to Bolton in 1985 as manager of the Pack Horse Hotel in Bolton town centre.
He lives in Bolton with his wife Anita and family.
He has three children -- Natalie (17), Jack (six) and Duncan (five).
Appropriately enough, he is a Bolton Wanderers supporter.
