Another forty-seven million,

Good money after bad.

To help sort out a Tory blunder,

The worst idea they've had.

Who wanted a dome in London,

Not the average British man.

It's a shame they didn't ask us all,

Before the work began.

They've tried everything to lure us in,

But still we stay away.

Now all that left for them to do,

Is sell or pray or pay.

But why should, our lottery have to pay,

For the mistakes made by a few.

Who assume they know what we all want,

But very seldom do.

Perhaps if they had built a research lab,

To help to cure mankind.

Then a greater millennium legacy,

We would have left behind.
