AS a member of the European Parliament, surely Mr Gary Titley should know better than to talk about metrification in his Letter from Europe (BEN, August 8),
This word has nothing at all to do with weights and measures, but refers to the structure and act of making verses. He should have said metrication.
I dread to think what the pro-Europe fanatics will come up with next, and only hope hat his fellow MEPs are more knowledgable.
