PEOPLE in prisons, young offender institutions, community homes and secure units like The Spinney in Atherton have been showing their artistic side.
They've been taking part in an annual national art competition run by the Koestler Awards Trust which had 4,500 entries this year.
Now, all the award winners, including three from The Spinney, will have their framed work on display at The Atrium Gallery in London. And, to give you an idea of the standard involved, here (from left) Spinney staff Mike Bennett, Vera Slater and Pen Hutchinson are pictured with some of the patients' work.
