LOCAL businessman Dhiru Gadhia has formed Maya Management Consultants.
Mr Gadhia, aged 38, who has lived in Bolton for more than 30 years, is a qualified engineer who held several senior management positions in industry before taking the plunge into self-employment.
Maya, which is based at the Bolton Enterprise Centre in Washington Street, specialises in implementing ISO 9000 quality management, health and safety and ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
The company, which has helped small to medium-size organisations win large contracts, also provides training, auditing, recruitment and employment services.
Mr Gadhia, who has played for Lancashire in the past, is known in local table tennis circles.
