I WAS disappointed to read that the fountain in the Market Hall is to be removed. Suggestions were invited for its re-location.
My first thought was that the Cabinet members of Bolton Council would decide to put the fountain in the trees on St Helens Road so it could remain unseen by the public, along with the sculpture already there.
My hope is that it will go to Bolton Hospice where it can be enjoyed by their wonderful staff, patients and their families.
