A LOCAL company is supplying stone cutting machinery to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament.
Automated Stone Machinery (Bolton) Ltd, which has been established for 24 years, is based in the Burnden Works, Burnden Road, Bolton.
In the past their products have been used at the White House in Washington and at Durham, Wells, Salisbury and Winchester cathedrals.
ASM supplied Westminster Abbey with a Compact 11 Freestanding 1200 saw to help with on-going restoration work.
Director Mick Howarth said: "We are obviously pleased with our achievements over the years and proud of the work we have done.
"We are lucky to have such a high level of recognition within the industry, enabling us to work at so many impressive and challenging buildings."
