IN the weekend 'Restaurant' League, with just four games remaining, three teams are vying for the major honours.
Nic Frattafi's strong Isis team hold a slender one point lead over the young team from Ligia's, while capable of spoiling the current scenario are Paul White's organised Monton Brasserie.
Incidentally, the big three still have to play one another.
Manor Five's would like to welcome further new teams, Bostick Stanley and The Raggie Dolls.
MANOR Five's held their second Presentation Evening, Friday, July 14, in the Manor Sports Clubhouse.
Fourteen midweek teams came together under the one roof, so as you can imagine, the banter and the crack was in full flow.
In keeping with tradition, awards where handed out to Championship Winners and Runners-up, although one or two teams put forward their very own honours ie. Most Improved Player etc. The loudest and most deserved reception was savoured by Jason Tyldesley, as he picked up the Manor Five's 'Manager of the Year' nominated by Manor Five's Manager, Marcus Brown.
"Most of us can fine it hard managing the one team.
"This guy somehow and extremely well, manages four successful teams within our leagues."
