Adlington are determined to push Walshaw all the way in the championship race.

They are in second place 27 points adrift after picking up a commanding six wicket win at Spring View following an unbeaten stand between Mike Rawlings and opener Mark Halliwell.

They put on 91 after Adlington had needed 100 off the last 18 overs to clinch victory.

Rawlings was the man in charge hitting 62 off 40 balls with five sixes and two fours while Halliwell carried his bat for 44, Adlington getting home with five overs to spare.
