CHORLEY has a new British champion!
Chorley Athletic Club's John Payn became the British Road Race Walking Champion in the veterans' 65 category on Sunday.
John recorded a time of six hours nine minutes and 21 seconds over the 50km course which started and finished in Bradford and took in the Yorkshire Dales via Ilkley and Otley.
