RE letters from JH Coombs and DB Waters attacking Mr David Crausby for telling the truth in his Westminster report. The Conservatives did target Asian votes in Asian areas.
I live in Central Ward and the leaflet I received through my door from the Conservative candidate said we have 30,000 Asians living in Bolton and they are not represented. We have no Asian councillors. So, if this is not targeting, what is?
They did not say we have not got a Conservative councillor in Central Ward.
Mr Coombs or Mrs Waters do not live in Central Ward and did not receive one of the leaflets but I suspect that they are both Conservatives and Mr Crausby has exposed them for what they really are -- political opportunists.
