A LATE night student party was broken up by a fire which left one young man needing hospital treatment.
More than a dozen Bolton Institute students were in the terraced house in Park Road, Heaton, when the blaze started in the bathroom at 3am today.
Some students spotted the smoke and fled before raising the alarm.
One man in his 20s was taken to hospital for treatment after breathing poisonous smoke.
The blaze, which damaged a toilet and bath panelling, is being treated as suspicious and police are investigating.
