DAREDEVIL pensioner Harold Lever completed another skydive in great style on Sunday.

But unfortunately for the brave go-getter, it will be his last. His doctor says that at the grand old age of 82, he should call it a day.

The jump was the latest in a string of daredevil stunts Harold has completed to raise money for charity.

The great-grandad has already done an abseil, run 20 marathons and enjoyed a parachute jump to celebrate his 80th birthday, as well as a charity bungee jump and tackling the Krypton Factor assault course.

But Harold, of Willow Close, Deane, says he might have to call time now, even though he still loves the high life.

"My doctor told me he won't sign another certificate because of my age, so I suppose Sunday's one will be my last -- but it was magnificent," he said.

Harold's latest efforts have pulled in more than £400 to help treat sufferers of muscular dystrophy, an illness which took the life of one of his nephews.

But despite the awesome parachute drop, the plucky pensioner said he wasn't worried and the worst part was the ride in the plane.

"I was quite worried but, once I jumped out, the feeling was brilliant. I loved every minute of it."

Harold plummeted the 10,000 feet above Lancaster at more than 120 miles per hour.

"Unfortunately, because of my age, they made me do it in tandem with an instructor," he said. "I was glad to be able to do something so enjoyable and raise money for charity at the same time."
