A GALA weekend, with activities, music and military splendour, will be held at Fulwood Barracks at Preston, on Saturday and Sunday, June 24/25. The Barracks houses the Headquarters of 42 (North West) Brigade and is the focus for more than 6,000 regular soldiers and Territorial Army soldiers. The gala is split between two days, with Beating the Retreat on Saturday and Millennium Forces Open Day on Sunday. Profits will go to the Army Benevolent Fund.
