A TERRIFIED young Bolton woman fears she may be the victim of a sinister stalker.

Natalie Worthington, 24, has had stones thrown at her window late at night and her car broken into eight times in six weeks.

A chilling note was left on her car seat saying: "Next time it will be you."

Police are so concerned a senior officer is meeting her today.

Now she wants the police to offer her the same sort of protection as they would stars such as Posh Spice Victoria Beckham.

Her family are installing CCTV at home in an attempt to scare off the intruder.

Natalie, an accountant, who lives with parents on Down Green Road, Harwood, said: "I don't know why someone is doing this. I'm a nice person and I've no enemies or ex-boyfriends who might turn nasty. I can't understand why this is happening.

"The note was the thing that did it. I was hysterical after that. I'm frightened out of my wits. It's hard to sleep at night."

Natalie, who has lived in the house almost all of her life, has even taken turns with her parents to stay up through the night to catch the culprit .

Her nightmare began at the end of the March when her car was vandalised. Days later it was broken into and the stereo and CDs stolen.

Natalie even started parking her vehicle between her parents' cars on the drive but the stalker continued to target it. It is currently being vandalised twice a week.

Last Thursday the note telling Natalie she "would be next" was left on the seat.

Yesterday stones were thrown at her bedroom window and the passenger lock on her car was again broken.

She said: "I lay there terrified. I was too scared to even shout my dad.

"I had to take the day off work because I didn't sleep. "The police have told me to park my car somewhere else but it hasn't helped me too much.

"I know this sounds terrible but people like Posh Spice and Robbie Williams were given extra protection when they had stalkers. I should have the same.

"I just hope something good will come of the police meeting."

Natalie says she was told she may have a stalker when she met with PC Lindsay Worrall, area officer in Harwood.

She said: "I was sick when I heard that word. I don't have a clue who it is or why they are doing this.

"If anybody knows anything I would ask them to get in touch with the police."
