DOME Day was a family affair for the Bolton Baxendales.
Mum Carolyn conducted the whole performance, son Daniel, starred as young George and daughter Elizabeth was the only primary pupil playing in the orchestra.
Mrs Baxendale says she was on an emotional rollercoaster as she waved the baton to conduct her own children on stage at the Dome in front of a VIP audience.
She said: "On a personal level it was quite thrilling and I was quite emotional by the end of the performance.
"I was all choked up and had to wipe away a few tears. All I could say to the children was brilliant."
