BOLTON nurse Karen Castille was due in London today for a special seminar with the Prime Minister.
Karen, a senior nurse in the accident and emergency department at Royal Bolton Hospital, will meet Tony Blair at 10 Downing Street and four other health workers to discuss plans for the NHS.
She and other health professionals have been asked to draw up a national reform programme.
She said: "For someone who has been a nurse for the NHS all her professional life, I welcome this boost for healthcare in our country.
"I am pleased to join others in drawing up a national programme that can take us into the 21st Century."
