BOLTON-based NHS Direct has announced the appointment of Claire Hunter as training and education co-ordinator.
Claire, 28, started at the helpline's base at Ladybridge Hall last year as a senior nurse adviser where she developed her interest in training.
She said: "I am excited by the challenge of helping to ensure we have staff, both nurses and call operators, who are well motivated, highly trained and fully supported to provide a high quality and responsive service to the residents of Greater Manchester." Claire is currently working with Manchester University to introduce clinical supervision for all staff by trained supervisors.
